Rhythmbeads are also called speedbeads or horsebeads.
The idea behind the rhythmbeads is from the ancient American Natives, who decorated their horse wiht paint but also with beads, necklaces and feathers. The believed it would protect horse and ride in battles, it would bring them luck, it would protect them to evil spirits and gives them status and would show their status.

The rhythmic sound of the beads, helps horse and ride to get in the right rhythm and to stay in it, besides that the soft sound of the bells work relaxing to the horse.
